Albina Asryan, soloist

Patrick HsiehAlbina Asryan received her training at the National Conservatory of Turkmenistan (former USSR), and graduated with qualifications of Piano instructor, Concert Performer, Performer of Chamber Music, and Accompanist.
She holds a Doctoral Degree in Piano Performance as well as combined Bachelor and Master of Music Degree in Piano Performance and Music Education.
Before coming to the United States, Albina Asryan served for 10 years as a faculty member at Ashgabat Music College, Turkmen National Conservatory, Turkmen National Boarding Music School, and Gavar Music College in Armenia (all in former Soviet Union). She taught applied piano, chamber ensemble, and history of piano music to undergraduate and graduate students. As an accompanist, Albina has 23 years of experience as of today. Her repertoire includes works for violin, viola, cello, bass, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, trumpet, trombone, horn, saxophone, euphonium, voice, and choir.
A winner of national and regional competitions as both a soloist and collaborative pianist, Albina Asryan, has performed in Armenia, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, and later, in the United States (Los Angeles and San Jose CA; Las Vegas and Reno, NV; Chicago, IL).
Currently, Albina Asryan is serving as a collaborative pianist for Ballet classes at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She is a private piano instructor, and active member of Music Teachers National Association.
She is a proud mother of a very talented dancer daughter who is a junior Dance Major at University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
